The job included planning, demolition, plumbing, electrical, framing and tile work. They removed the old tile floor and replaced it with electric radiant heating and upgraded floor tiles. The crew was very considerate and professional at all times and all issues were addressed prior to the completion of the project. “Wells and Co Builders are your go to for upscale home remodeling, Toby and his crew can do it all. We have a specific period home built in the 1890’s. It was important that as we made updates, the period aesthetic was maintained as well as provide modern updates to electrical, heating, cooling systems, etc.. many people who visit our home frequently can’t tell the difference where Toby’s work begins and the original detail and character ends. “Toby Wells is a contractor better then any I have met. Lots of GCs have the ability to knock down walls, put up boards ect….but very few have the conceptual understanding of the needs of a home like Toby does. We had many conversations regarding the flow of our new kitchen, where cabinets and appliances should be based on high and low traffic areas. The kitchens intended use and basic workflow were validated against design decisions to ensure we made optimal use of space in our 80+ year old home. His quote met with expectations for the size of our remodel; there was not a series of mandatory change orders after that skyrocketed the price. When old style plumbing and sewer were found in the walls, he gave recommendations of what to do with them and left the decision in our hands. To top the entire project off, Toby hit his predicted completion date right on the nose. He predicted two months for an entire kitchen remodel, including removing two load bearing walls, and the project ended exactly at the two month mark. I could not recommend Toby and his crew enough; we are already in discussions about next steps for remodeling our older home.”
